I recently the XFX AMD Radeon RX 570 RS 4GB Black card on my new mining rig. Here’s the basic rundown of what worked for me.
- Install the AMD Blockchain driver, which you can find here.
This gave the stock card a 22+ MH/s hash rate mining ethereum on Claymore (Windows 10)
- BIOS flash with a memshift from 1500 timing and up.
My card has Hynix and Elpida RAM. I tried a number of different pre-made BIOS mods and ended up using the 1500 strap found here on Anorak.
I used the memshift version; however, I have yet to try to overclock version. I’ll update if/when I do.
Between the AMD Blockchain driver and the BIOS mod, my XFX AMD Radeon RX 570 RS 4GB Black GPU is now running stable between 25-26MH/s.
The overclocking that I have tried thus far has been detrimental to its performance. I’m still going to try the Anorak overclock rom and see if it improves.
If you’re getting better results with this card, feel free to let us know in the comments what you’re getting and how you got there.
